Brand new Deloitte USDC looking to shift to other Big 4. Want to experience core consulting culture and not DC’s. Any advise? Does it look bad on the resume?
I hate what I do in my current team. I have no interest in anything we do and am slowly becoming more and more miserable. Is it worth it to switch teams? Not sure if switching teams will slow my progression to being promoted to senior. Any advice would be appreciated! Btw I'm a first year tax associate in a big 4!
Recent grad hoping to switch to a big 4 firm. Undergrad recruiting went real shitty and I was wondering if experienced hire recruiting in general is as competitive?
Slalom manager pay ? With and without MBA? Are the long term pay scales just bad compare to big 4? I don't get why more people don't switch

If you are starting as an Audit Associate some time from now with Deloitte or any of the big 4, do they expect you to have passed/completed all 4 parts by the time you start? Received the Becker Reimbursement email from the recruiter not too long ago but have yet to start. I’ve seen plenty of people get to Senior at a big 4 firm without the CPA so I am a bit confused in that aspect. Any helpful feedback will be very much appreciated.
I did an internship with a boutique consulting firm that got extended for a full year while I was in school full time as well. On top of that I have 16 months of experience in my B4/T2 consulting firm, and I have a ton of other experience on top of that interning at banks and startups. TLDR; I have 3+ years of experience, 1 year at a small consulting shop and 1.5 years at B4 upon graduation. Is it true that none of this experience really counts?
I have been wanting to switch to advisory from audit. I have spoken up regarding this possible transfer but it doesn’t look like it will happen internally. I don’t want to leave public or B4 (cont)...
Perspectives on Managing Director (newly promoted) base and variable comp across big 4 and equivalent firms looks like these days?
here's an ego boost for all the times KPMG has been called the stepchild of the B4: http://beta.fortune.com/best-companies/list
Been here several years. Only just clicked to me how predatory Big 4 are. Business model is to use cheap, underpaid labor from college grads who can't go elsewhere or pay debts. Churn em and burn em.
Considering making a move between big 4 firms. Would I get fired immediately once I give my notice if I accept another firms offer?
What’s the reason why equity partners (Big 4) can invest more than $19.5k into their 401k?
I am mid 20’s in consulting type role and I get very conscious of my voice and how I speak in a male dominated industry. Anyone relate? Any tips to gain executive presence?
Thoughts on Indexed Universal Life Insurance as an investment vehicle? I hear the pros and cons from the sellers of this, whom I understand gain heavy commissions. But wanted to get thoughts from investors and if this isn't a good vehicle, what alternative investment vehicles do you suggest (outside of stocks, Roth, 401k, and real estate)? Looking to diversify my portfolio. I'm 43, married, income 600k combined, and we have 2 properties worth 3m and investment accounts worth ~2-3m. Thanks!

Project managers, is it frustrating for you that you can't jump in and do the work yourself? I might want to go into PM but I feel like every time my team was in crunch time I would feel useless and hate it

I have a friend who has like 5-7 years of regional firm audit experience. He would be manager for sure but doesn't have his cpa and doesn't want to get it (I told him to just do it but he’s stubborn). Problem is he's burnt out and wants a decent job working 40-45 hours a week and can focus on his true passion (mma fighting). Can anyone recommend a job/firm he should look at? Preferably a remote position. Maybe any other general advice?
Have a week to prepare for a BCG case interview. Any tips on good case material keeping in mind I don't have much time? Any free resources I could get a hold of?
