Is anyone using a service where they accept payments online (planning fees, monthly 401k fees, etc) where the client can pay using debit/credit card?

I used to use Square in the early years of my biz when cash was tight. Now, I do not see the convenience and quickness of payment out weighing the cost of the systems unless you plan on passing the fee onto the client.

I use PayPal.I don't do it to get payment quicker, only because some planning clients request it.

I use Stripe.

Hi EA Team! I’m interested in hearing from you all, what kind of projects do you take on? In the EA role Besides the basics: of travel, expenses, calendaring, space captain, offsites. I ask bc my boss is offering me an opportunity to start getting more involved in the business he said, and i quote “i want you to be an extension of me” what kinda role is that? I love Ops work, i use to do it at a start up, and being in a global company now i realized how much calendaring is not my favorite lol

I have not been on a project for over 3 months. Since I joined, I have been put in training. The training got extended by a month and now it's close to 4 months since I joined and without a project.

What should I do? People say that I'm lucky to get paid without doing any work, but it is stressing me out. I need the experience. The uncertainty is freaking me out, with rumours of layoffs and the certification program and all.

How do I get into a project? How long do I have to wait more?

I have a great opportunity for an HR program manager focusing on acquisitions, talent management programs, internal consulting on projects like job architecture, manager development, culture change, among lots of others. Base + bonus plus other great benefits like 9 weeks of 100% paid parental leave for birthing/non-birthing parents (in addition to STD for birthing mothers). Fully remote role. Send me a message if you’re interested in learning more!

Hi everyone,

I’m in a pit of a pickle…I’m leading my very first project (case study) with a team of 5. We’re all in different countries and different time zones 😬

What do I need to include on the project plan/roadmap so there’s a clear understanding of what our goals are? How do I get everything to align for success and how do I keep everyone motivated?

Hoping someone can help - I got an email to collect my passport and saw my skilled worker visa has been approved but I have not received any official communication from the UKVI regarding my outcome (although my collection email said that my decision was emailed). How long does this usually take to come through?

Thanks in advance :)

I’m using TurboTax and hoping someone can clarify if what I am doing is correct. I contributed to Roth IRA, but MAGI is above limit so I recharacterized in 2022. For 2021 tax return, I selected Traditional IRA > No to repayment of distribution > No to excess IRA contributions > No to non deductible contributions to IRA…after saying No to all of the questions, it states that I have a penalty. I thought I didn’t have to pay a penalty if I recharacterized? Any help appreciated!

Has anyone tried both online TD ameritrade brokerage and JPMorgan brokerage? If so, can you share some pros and cons of both? I’m currently using TD to buy stocks, but I’m debating if I should just move all my stocks to JPMorgan since my checking and saving are with Chase already. FYI, I don’t do day trade and most of my investments are ETFs and hold for long term.
