I was last year until I moved. What’s your question, OP? I don’t know what you mean by “what’s out there,” it’s a bit ambiguous
OP, my understanding all Big Four are on hiring freeze right now.
Rsm has got quite a few offices in Florida.
Deloitte has offices in Miami and Tampa for multistate/state and local tax, international and federal/private wealth (business tax). Apologies because I’m unaware if we have any offices in Jacksonville. Most Big4 right now have paused or effectively frozen experienced hiring for tax (Deloitte is doing this currently) so if your relatives are above college level experience (where we are still taking in new staffers as entry level) they may need to wait for several months for the economy to level... it may not be until next year.
Yes, I am what’s your question?
Where in FL? It’s mainly Miami and Tampa but there are small offices in Jacksonville and Orlando that may or may not have a tax group there.
EY has Miami, Boca, Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville...check out the big 4 websites for office locations.
KPMG has Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Tampa, and Jax. Miami/FTL breaks the disciplines between them since they’re close— SALT is in FTL, BTS mostly in MIA.
What discipline are you in?
What kind of tax?
Deloitte FL is always looking for experienced hires but as other have mentioned, we are on an experienced hire hiring freeze but once that lifts we are always looking- specifically in MTS and IT. What tax SL are you?
