Is anyone working out more due to time and nothing else to do with COVID-19? I thought I’d be watching so much TV, but I’ve barely seen like 3 episodes of a tv show for ~ 21 days

I spend so much time in front of a screen during the day watching tv is the last thing I want to do at night. I’m reading a lot instead.

like

Honestly, I've been doing really well. Eating better, sleeping better. I'm reading and I'm working out more.

Well, you’ve got a fitting title of a planner.

Weirdly enough I’m losing weight but I think I’m losing muscle since I used to do more weights and now I’m just running all the time (I’m a girl btw)

like

Also I’m controlling what I eat more instead of eating out from traveling

I have a triathlon coach and it’s usually hard for me to do big volume with weekly travel so this week we’re bumping up to 15 hours of training. I do a lot of recovery work like foam rolling on calls that aren’t video. I find I actually concentrate better

I don’t watch anything

Not working out more, but eating less junk and losing weight.

Feeling down and out.

From past few years, i am looking for job change but couldn't not go through the selection process. Usually none interviewer is sharing the reason for rejection. It is disturbing my mental health and peace. I am feeling out and depressed most the time as the current environment in organization is killing the mental health badly.
Anyone could help to find opportunities in HR operations, will be highly appreciated.

Hi all,
I graduated during Covid with a double major in business administration and business management with a minor in marketing and magically ended up in sales because I needed a job. I’m about to take a data analytics course to make an attempt to break into that field. I’m currently looking for a mentor to help guide me during this time. Also, if anyone is willing to look over my resume and give me tips on how to make it more presentable for recruiters in DA that would be very helpful. Thanks

Does anyone here have a serious invisible disability or chronic illness and, if so, do you think it’s better to tell your firm about this or hide it because of the stigma (you are weak, might drop the ball, etc)? I read an article about a Skadden partner who hid her cancer diagnosis and I am wondering about this. Do you think this changes for mental v physical v neurodiverse people? Anyone know firms who support lawyers w disabilities? I am aware of the ADA but my question is not strictly legal.

Hi! Can someone recommend a source for learning how do simple, fun music lessons on Zoom? I teach first grade and use music for my transitions. Has anyone purchased their gown from a re-sell site? Nearly Newlywed, StillWhite, etc? Could you share your experience if so? I have two gowns I tried on in person (so I know they fit/look good) and slightly stalking to see if they show up on those sites :)
There also seems to be a ton of brand new gowns from Covid-cancelled weddings

Do you work the holidays into your lesson plans this time of year? Or is it too much of a distraction from your routine? Teaching a SPED music class this year and the students have finally *mostly* become comfortable in the room and with the instruments + noise. We usually work on the same songs each week for one month, but I'm thinking of switching it up and doing Christmas/Holiday songs next week as a send off into break. I work with mostly autistic students.

My title was software project manager but my actual work is something like: 20% project management; 80% product owner/ scrum master in several teams in my previous job. Was this common? AITA: We've followed all the guidelines throughout this pandemic. My husband and I kept the kids home when there was no vaccine available for anyone. When family members and friends were fully vaccinated, they were allowed to come over. When those 5-12 were eligible for the vaccine, we took our two daughters in ASAP. My son is 4 and we have immunocompromised family members, whether they act like it or not. For Christmas, we decided on rapid tests to allow for a small family holiday. (Cont.)

Want to get everyone's thoughts on a trend I'm seeing lately. Not yet at my own company but with people close to me.

I'm sure we've all seen the uptick in companies asking their employees to come in to the office more often.

Given the economic environment, does anyone feel that companies are doing the Musk thing: mandatory office attendence to cloak a need for a workforce reduction? Like coaching people out so you don't have to fire them and be the bad guy essentially.
