Hi all, I am working in capgemini as a fresher and all my joining on boarding got virtually only. Never seen the office at once. Almost 1.7 year got over. Now they are calling me to Bangalore, I have no one and I want initial accommodation for at least 2 weeks other wise it will be very tough for me. They said it is not written in my offer for accomodation so I will not get. But this is unethical if it's not written on offer letter then I won't get. help me to get this accomodation pls Capgemini
Are Christmas bonuses common? Do you get one?

Would love to hear about your gardening leave experience, especially in the event production sector, i.e. Gartner, Forrester, etc. I’m planning my resignation and I’m unsure if I should plan my next endeavor around it. I plan to continue my career in event production but as an in-house producer for a solution provider, any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Last year, as I was not satisfied with my work (not being challenged enough) I got into coding and got accepted to an Ivy League school for masters in CS program (for people with no CS degrees). So that’s an option I can pursue, but I can’t be sure if leaving a great career advancement opportunity makes sense.
I can really see myself getting good at tech by industry (as I’m curious and interested about) and find a career (strategy, product development, research) to utilize both my consulting experience and new degree. If I go back to school, I can move in with family in Pennsylvania and use my savings and work part time to support myself.
Going back to school
Cons: pay cut, starting at ground zero or so, unknown career advancement.
Pros: wide variety of employers, opportunity to live in anywhere else than USA if I want to (a dream of mine - not really possible with my current job)
Staying at my job
Pros: income (especially in the world of wars and crazy inflation), career advancement, impactful work
Cons: partially liking what I do, responsibility of a team, too much dependency on external factors (client, funding, politics, etc.), being afraid of not having the time to find the right person and have a family in the future as my boss (a partner) works way too long/hard.
I know it’s a luxury to have options, but I’m genuinely confused. I’d very much appreciate anyone with experience or different perspective sharing their opinions on pros/cons these options.
