I'd guess we would happily offer advisory support to clients on how to implement a 4 day working week, but can't see what the driver would be for us to implement it ourselves...

Ah yes the beauty of corporate Britain. Soon people will be able to do nothing over 4 days instead of 5.
Try working in France, or other parts of Southern Europe it’s the dream
Deloitte isn’t and not planning to, I suspect as it’s a threat to the business model. We probably need value-based billing to actually work before the move can be made.

Big4 with the ground breaking news that they’re trialing 7 days a week instead.
7 days a week, including bank holidays am I right? Deloitte’s fantastic flexible working proposition…
Big 4 will be the last companies to do 4 day workweeks
Unless they could bill 5 days for 4 I don’t see why they would

No client would pay consultants for 5 days and have them work for 4.

Wait, aren't we already doing 4 days a week?
This explains why my boss doesnt like me
Nah won’t happen, not unless we have a client that has a 4 day week policy…. even then we’d have to do internal work on the 5th day 😂
Not gonna happen anywhere never mind big 4

All this means is instead of working 7 days and billing 5x10hours you are working 7 days and billing 4x10 hours 😂😅
If a 4 day work week comes in, does that mean Wednesdays the new Thursday? 🤯🤯
There was a thread on here the other week asking how many hours do people actually work per week and the answers were less than 4 full time days lol

Only for those on the bench, with the ambition of shifting that to 0 days a week
