Is buying points ever worth it?

Points-wise if I stay at Marriott does it make more sense to pay with Marriott CC or CSR?

My flight to LGA in the morning got cancelled but I was put on another flight that was an hour later. Should I ask for points?

$2042 for a 3 night stay at a Hyatt. I have 16k points and can buy the rest... for $918. Travel is the first week of April, so don’t think I’ll get the points fast enough from a Hyatt card or CSP/R... is it worth it to buy the points?

Is 160,000 points for Ritz Carlton Residences on Wakiki beach too much? Moana surf rider also has the same redemption cost in points. Ritz is $540 per night in March. How good is the property?

I took the GMAT the other day for the third time, and my score dropped 60 points and I have no idea what happened. I took it a month ago and had a 710 Q48 V42, and when I took it yesterday I got a Q48 V31. I’m just really confused and upset because verbal dropped 11 points and I don’t understand why. Any advice? Should I try again? I just feel like 11 point drop is so much it’s crazy

Any thoughts? on why Dow dropped 665 points today? I know it had a crazy run up in Jan but still ...only 9th time ever it has dropped 600+ points in a single day.
