OCM is but sometimes there’s IT change management of release/deployment management that could be in a more technical group, but weird if traditional OCM isn’t considered human capital work
I consider them to be pretty different things/scope of work. Human capital to me seems more performance assessment, succession planning, l&d etc
The change work I do is more business strategy, change adoption, advisory etc. Projects stemming from global initiatives to regionalized changes.
It mostly is - since we are assessing the impact on employees.

Yeah, I came from Deloitte and it all fell under human capital
Tbh I expect us to go back to a similar thing like people and change used to be, HCA isn’t doing so hot from what I hear and they want to combine HCA with TD again

I came here because I was tired of the endless 60 hour weeks for less than I’m making
I also somewhat enjoy the aspect of the growing we are doing with our human capital work

Generally speaking, it should not be. At some firms, it’s under the same umbrella. And at others, it’s completely separate.
