Any Accenture people know if it negatively impacts you to be on an Accenture Federal Services project if you're not AFS? The project seems interesting but not sure how different AFS is?
Regarding Marriott's MegaBonus: If I always fly to the client site on Sundays, is it worth it to stay the first 2 nights in one Marriott and then the last 2 nights in another Marriott just to (cont)
I know my client needs an Accounting Manager. I know this because they’re startup med device company that has their books in complete shambles. The current accounting team isn’t very strong. How do I let the client know that I would be interested in joining them? They’re not actively recruiting for any position but I know they’d benefit from it. Serious responses only :)
I am writing this here because I hope that maybe a woman can understand where I am coming from and what I should do. I joined Accenture January 2020 as a level 11, long story short, I talked to my CC about mid year promotion since January as well as my director. I learned on Friday I’m not up for promotion. My CC tells me because he didn’t see any client input feedback in the PA tool so he didn’t enter anything for promotion. My director tells me he thought I started with Accenture January 2021

Throughout my career, I have worked at both “traditional” and “digital” shops. My current agency would fall under traditional but also offers digital services. Our process, roles and skillsets seem way outdated but I wasn’t sure if it was just my opinion or if this is just how it works. For example, we have no CTO or tech leads. Our digital producers feel more like project managers than actual producers. Account Management is just traditional, no real digital knowledge. Feels layered and dated.
I've been on the bench for two weeks waiting for a client to approve me and being paid to do nothing is actually just making me anxious 🙃
The only time I saw the client counterpart today was in the restroom. Atleast we agree on something!!😜

Planning a bridal shower / bachelorette party weekend for my elder sister (she’s 28). She wants to have it in NYC, which is where she and I live. I’m thinking bridal shower at Union Square Cafe or some other fancy restaurant Saturday morning, bachelorette party Saturday night (but no idea where), and then casual goodbye brunch at my parent’s place on Sunday AM. Her friends would fly in Friday or Saturday morning. Have never done this so need all the advice / suggestions! Thank you!

Is it normal in Big 4 to: 1. Assign tasks with least amount of direction, context and criticize for not thinking on the feet? 2. Assign more than one task at the same time and push for updates on all?
