It’s a starch/carb. The body can’t break down corn entirely - so you need to keep it in moderation. No single food is good or bad.
but saying makes it so
You can lose weight eating it but it provides little to no nutritional value, is relatively caloric for a vegetable and 2/3 cup has roughly the same amount of carbs as a serving of crackers. I love corn too but would probably prefer the crackers. :)
Corn is pretty nutritionally empty while also being high in sugar. Probably not the best diet food.
