I work remote and have arm sleeves, and any time I would be in-person I’d of course wear a long sleeve shirt to be professional, but worry about a cuff rolling up and tattoos being somewhat visible. I’m sure he goes to bed every night feeling he has done something good, and feels rewarded more than stressed.

I’m thinking I want to be like Mark.

Law schools in Toronto - I am currently working as a Senior Auditor at EY & finished my CPA modules in less than 12 months & successfully passed CFE, September 2021 (Fasttrack) while working full time. I am really interested in getting into a top law school here in Toronto but unfortunately I had a low CGPA (3.15) from undergrad due to some unfortunate incident, mostly impacted my grades. I strongly feel i can score 170+ on LSAT; question DO I EVEN STAND A CHANCE TO GET INTO ANY LAW SCHOOL

What is it about this profession that makes people think it is okay to look down on others - not just people in other professions but also people who are from other schools, other firms, other region, etc. We can be good lawyers and good human beings. Those two are not mutually exclusive...

Wondering what would associates/partners at work think if I bring in my own mechanical keyboard (I'm a new law graduate - one week into a new job at a big law). Should I wait a bit? Of course I'm going to use silent switches, so typing sound won't be an issue.
