Is curved monitor worth it for 34 inch screens? At what size does curved start to give a real advantage?

Yes! I got one, was so worth it. I feel like the curve eases the monitor on the eyes because 34 is huge and otherwise be tiring for the eyes to look at if the monitor was flat.

like

Yes. 34” is fine. You can fit two docs on there. 49” is obviously preferable, but nothing wrong with 34”.

I have a 34’’ flat and I don’t understand the curved thing tbh it feels like it would be weird

What’s the consensus on tattoos in the insurance workplace? I’m in leadership and considering exploring my options due to recent personnel changes. I work remote and have arm sleeves, and any time I would be in-person I’d of course wear a long sleeve shirt to be professional, but worry about a cuff rolling up and tattoos being somewhat visible. Nothing is offensive by any means.

Stub year here.

Had the following elevator convo with one of the most senior (guy is very old) partners at the firm:

Me: water is being shut off briefly tomorrow, think your group will be wfh?

Partner: Not sure, I’ll just be bringing a bucket.

Me: Haha, I was thinking of diapers myself

Partner: Haha, that’s a good one, I’m going to use it

Me: It’s all yours, you could sell it better (meaning his delivery in my mind)

Partner: because I’m old?

*elevator closes*

Fired by tomorrow??

I am really interested in getting into a top law school here in Toronto but unfortunately I had a low CGPA (3.15) from undergrad due to some unfortunate incident, mostly impacted my grades. I strongly feel i can score 170+ on LSAT; question DO I EVEN STAND A CHANCE TO GET INTO ANY LAW SCHOOL

Wondering what would associates/partners at work think if I bring in my own mechanical keyboard (I'm a new law graduate - one week into a new job at a big law). Should I wait a bit? Of course I'm going to use silent switches, so typing sound won't be an issue.
