Is Customer Success a good exit option? Has anyone exited into this role and can share your perspective?

It can be a good option as startups have a very broad definition of what constitutes customer success - from managing and triaging tickets (customer support) to super strategic account ownership. I’d understand very well what their vision of customer success is. Also, I’d look into how big and how old the customer success org is. I want to validate if the company is invested into customer success and it’s not a knee jerk reaction. There are other considerations too but I’d start my due diligence with the above in mind.

I think customer success could be great if you want to transition into being a product manager. You can go from consultant to PM, but the gap is larger vs if you go from consultant (serving your clients) to customer success (knowing the product and serving clients) to product manager (knowing and improving the product/service based on your experiences with clients and concrete feedback)

Anyone who can help me with a referral for data science/ML engineer roles? Current CTC is 13L.

Currently going to school for my cannabis certification but I rarely see any jobs that offer cannabis research. I have a degree in horticulture with lab experience.

A friend of mine has worked at her current job for around 6 years and has never received a raise (not accounting role). She emailed her supervisor to schedule a meeting to discuss compensation adjustment. The supervisor replied saying that they can discuss compensation during her annual review in May. How would you reply to that email?

She likes her job and doesn't really want to look for a new one. But no raises in such is kind of ridiculous, especially in current environment.

What are your thoughts on the new Scrum Guide?

I started a new job at a wonderful company. I came as a manager because of my yoe and knowledge in the field. English is not my first language and , even though I try very hard to get better at it , I will never be able to speak or write like a native English speaker.
I fear this limitation will affect my performance review, future salary increases and promotions. How can I get over this ? I have daily anxiety every time I interact with peers. Any tips to improve my written or verbal skills ?
