Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, The Defenders and The Punisher. ALLL OF EMM!
Maybe give Jessica Jones a try if you're not liking Daredevil. Iron Fist should be retconned out of existence. It's kinda like what might happen if DC got hold of a Marvel property.
Stay for more than a couple episodes. Totally worth it.
I haven’t seen Punisher or Jessica Jones S2 yet, but here’s my ranking for the rest:
1. Jessica Jones S1
2. Daredevil S1
3. Daredevil S2
4. Luke Cage S1
5. Defenders S1
99. Iron Fist S1.
I loved the Punisher, so wanted to watch DareDevil but the first 2 episodes are not winning me over.
The punisher is better
Netflix marvel doesn't have the same money as an Avenger movie, so they focus on story and great choreography. Daredevil rocks!
I actually had a harder time getting into Jessica Jones - Daredevil and Luke Cage are my top two with The Punisher close behind .... v. disappointed with The Defenders. They needed a few more episodes.
Iron Fist is the worst.
Nope
Daredevil is pretty good. I’d give it a7/10, but it is slow moving and very introspective. I really like Jessica Jones season 1 which is a great look into PTSD (how many shows do this?) and Luke Cage is also excellent. I like quite politically reflective science fiction and they both are fuelled by so much social context.
The fight scenes in Daredevil and Punisher are insane! The post-production effects are world class too.
One bonus to all the Marvel shows is that they're dubbed in a ton of languages. They're great for learning if you're studying a new one. The dialogue is generally pretty basic.
I’m liking DareDevil. Gave it a try and now hooked.
