Earlier i was hired to work on testing/automation but after joining training was never given on that and they took me in an internal project which i wasn't aware of. After working for more than a year i want to switch to testing, so I requested the same to a higher official. They said we can't switch you to testing as you don't have training but we can take you later on and give you training side by side with your current project. Should I believe them or switch the company. Please help PwC

What does a “data strategy” deliverable look like?
Y’all literally have an entire practice for it
Hahaha
I would say extremely. The tools are just getting more and more powerful. I recently switched to industry (Corp strategy) and data visualization is core to literally everything my team does. Those that don’t know data don’t get data. If you don’t get data you’re screwed.
I think having some Power BI or python packages under your belt for data visualization is great but I would make it your expertise. Making dashboards and cleaning data is boring after a while and I wouldn’t be surprised if it all becomes automated in the future

Even if your job is modeling or research, none of it exists in a vacuum. Decent data viz skills are very important for getting buy-in for your results.
True that, but just curious what is the market for this skill in today's market, given that cloud and other technologies are getting more popular
"cloud and other technologies" make data visualization even more valuable. Data availability is still ever increasing, so being able to intelligently analyze, interpret, and present insights (i.e. visualization) is pretty much mandatory. Not everyone needs to be an expert, but it's definitely useful to have some proficiency in data visualization.
Yes. Even in court procedures -> the communication of good evidence starts with comprehensive data visualizations :D
