Big law folks: If you leave big law, how hard is it to get back in? Thinking of leaving to do an mba. Want to know if this is signing a death warrant to returning or if the only consequence is the lost 1-2 years while at school.

Early 20s, trying to decide a path forward. Anyone have advice?

Option A. Online masters from no-name school in a science field I’m passionate about, but has nothing to do with my career.
Option B. In-person masters at name brand school in a field I’m not that passionate about, but will build my resume and probably position me well for future career opps.

I don’t have much desire to pursue B but the opportunity cost in the near-term seems to be too high to pass up.
