This sentence does not make any sense, so based on that you would not get hired. Would a Canadian bank hire an Indian, yes, it happens all the time, you just need to be eligible to work in canada and be able to speak the language (English or French) well enough to be understood .

Find a role, apply and find out then. But yes you may need to pass English language tests to enter Canada.

I might have an exit to a *sigh* sox manager position, but very interested in the company, which will probably afford more interesting roles within a couple years. 30k pay bump. Take it or hold out for something more interesting? Honestly I like IA/risk mgmt.

As per the trend in Current "Great Resignation" even big MNCs are facing offer rejections and it is very hard to onboard IT employees because everyone has multiple offers, Only those companies have some advantage who supported employees well in Covid period. Employees were in fear of job lost, and maximum IT organization's took benefit of this fear, now they are only facing maximum offer rejections.

Why would they keep you freelancing for months, or even a year, and you’re handling/overseeing big projects, but you can’t get to talk to them (recruiters/hiring managers) to discuss full time? They just don’t respond or ghost, even if the team likes you and there is a need at the agency?

Post-Military 🐠, What did you do with your TSP account after leaving the military? I am toying with the back door Roth IRA route but also see value in leaving the money in the TSP. Reason being, low expense ratio and option to transfer 401Ks into TSP down the road. Additionally, I don’t mind having multiple accounts so simplicity is not a factor. Thanks for any insights.

Desi folks (male specifically) - how have you dealt with marital issues? It’s unfortunate but men are not known to show emotions. Me and my wife have had so many issues. I also can’t initiate a divorce due to a child in our marriage. I feel like mentally I’m not in a good place and really lost on what to do. I’m constantly depressed, have contemplated suicide and just overall not in a good place but I’m keeping this all to myself and not talking to anyone
