Is deloittes human capital experiencing lay offs? Specifically OT practice?

I quit my previous job approximately 5-6 months ago due to toxic culture and being pressured to commit fraud… I fear hiring managers see that I’ve been out of work for this time and may assume I was fired or laid off. Additionally I’ve had a couple interviews where company “X” interviewers have commented on this and in an effort to not bad mouth my previous employer I’m stuck with a generic answer like I want to take my career to the next level with Company “X.” Any thoughts/advice?

Just a warning about all those postings for open roles at VMLY&R. They just laid a bunch of people off. Not sure why they're trying to hire, but I'd think twice before applying. Things aren't good here...

Can someone explain what’s going on with all these layoffs? Companies are hiring copywriters and other talent and firing them a month later.

If you were fired tomorrow or just "laid off" what would you do first ?

I have been going on interviews and noticed 2 department heads already assume I was laid off or fired due to a 4 months gap. I explained I left my last role due to short term health issues that have been resolved. Not even sure how to respond when they assume. Any advise? Thanks!

I heard from my head that there is a lot of slowdown in VW Germany... There is Hiring freeze, level freeze and all ... And soon that will spillover to india. So be prepared for very less hikes in coming cycle :( Also automotive sector in general is struggling with tesla laying off 10% workforce recently. Maybe time to make a move? What do you say fishes?

So I’m 7 weeks 3 days and I haven’t been sick at all. I know I should count myself lucky and not worry at all because it’s normal but I can’t help myself but worry because I feel…normal? I got a handheld ultrasound at week 5 and the doctor saw the gestational sac but nothing else (which apparently is normal at 5 weeks) I have my first real ultrasound in 3 days and I’m so so so nervous. Currently on H1B visa.

He wants to move from USDC to Deloitte Core due to location preference and family reasons. Since USDC is only at three locations. Core has wider range of location options.

Interviewing with KPMG for Change Management as an associate. I have the two interviews back to back, what should I expect in an associate interview ?

our company is expanding domestically in about 15 states in the US as well as internationally in EMEA and APAC. our biggest struggles right now are with all the different employment laws/compliance items + comp & benefits + what differs locally vs aligns globally. we are working with a PEO but still need support and expertise internally. what's the best way to structure the HR team in order to support this type of growth & expansion, especially in a short amount of time?

I'm looking at a company that's beginning to build its HR function in the U.S. (they already have overseas teams). What are some questions I should be asking the CHRO or things I should be considering when I evaluate the HR roadmap? How do you evaluate an HR strategy at this stage? I've worked at startups, but this would be my first time helping build the HR function.

Is CIPD a valuable certification? Is it appreciated in Europe only or US too? I have an opportunity to get it but not sure if knowledge is really up to date and worth time spent.

Hi All, I’m thinking about getting certified in change management but not sure if I should go the Prosci route or CCMP route. CCMP is a lot cheaper compared to Prosci but would it measure up just the same?
