Yeeeep but go outside to nature don’t just be in Denver
Rising Star
Idk what people visited that are saying Denver had a solid food scene. Been here 8 years and it’s still average at best and usually downright disappointing for recommended spots.
Agreed. Been to Denver twice and tried a wide variety of places. The food is very bad.
This might be a hot take but Denver is my least favorite city in the US that I’ve traveled to. The downtown area sucks, the food is bleh, and the people are weird. It’s hot as hell in the summer… instant sweat. There’s hardly anything to do in downtown Denver, but I suppose the mountain towns are pretty nice. I enjoyed Boulder. Really the only reason I go to Colorado is for ski trips, and even now I typically don’t go to Colorado. Love Utah, California, Montana, etc
Went in October for the first time on a boys trip. Garbage downtown, bad food and generally the quietest city I’ve ever been to. Sports games were decent, but even then not too rowdy. My city of 500k people in Canada is 10x the fun… and that’s saying something.
I live in Denver. Solid city for a couple days, wouldn’t stay downtown. Spend your time in nature that’s so close. RMNP, ski resorts, many high peaks, alpine lakes tj enjoy
One of my favorite US cities
Depends what you're going for. Denver has a solid music scene, great breweries and restaurants. Easily could spend a week there
The Rockies to the west has world class snowboarding and hiking with incredible views. Also good for another week at least

Great city. Very good beer choices, plenty of outdoor stuff, solid food
It’s ok, but the mountains/outdoors are the real reason to visit. Boulder is nice too. I also like some of the old mining towns like Georgetown. I lived north of Boulder for a bit.
