Spent 4+ years as CMO of startup company. It was an incredible learning experience but also a very difficult uphill battle trying to steer the owners and the company in the right direction. I’ve just exited the company as of 11/18. The owners expected to storm the marketplace and emerge as a number one brand at only 6 years old without putting in the work.Company had a very hard time understanding the concept of a unique value proposition. Hoping to find a new remote (full time) position ASAP

You shouldn’t feel bad about anything other than thinking of looking for work on Fiverr. You will not be well compensated for you time through that. You’re better off doing a passion project on your own.
@ACD1, I follow her! She’s great.
I suppose the answer to this is question is: depends on where you work. Almost every agency owned by the big four holding companies have rules against this in your contract that could potentially get you fired. Even if it’s “off the clock”. A bunch of jealous lovers if you ask me but if you work for an independent, I guess It doesn’t hurt to ask.
I’m looking through it right now, thanks!
I was on a call with our CCO recently and when the conversation turned to what do you do outside of work, I mentioned that I freelance. They didn’t bat an eye but in the back of my head my brain was desperately trying to shut my mouth up.
Maybe the admission that outside of work I just do more...work...made them feel bad enough for me already.
