I feel like we should be judging agencies more for their quality as employers than their ads. Like every day I care how much time I get with my family, can I afford a nice home, are my coworkers pleasant. That stuff is so important. The ads, not so much.

Ultimately that’s how we’re judged when we look for a new job. How good are our ads. Director 1: Maybe your role is more about how nice you are to your team, which I love! But for a Creative, it’s all about the caliber of work we produce, so we seek the same in an agency. For better or worse.

No but it’s still much better than the overwhelming majorities of agencies out there.

It’s still vastly better than most agencies out there. But you shouldn’t hold people who come from there on a pedestal higher than people at other big agencies. They’re pretty comparable to most other creatives. I’ve even been disappointed with a few. It’s always good on a resume though

It’s better than every other agency I’ve been in.

Advise working with a coworker who doesn't "answer the question directly": I just joined a new company and I am starting to work with a coworker but I feel like he tends to deflect my questions all the time and he often gives a vague/BS answer. FOR EXAMPLE, I stepped in reviewing the list of deliverables needed for the project, I provided my input but instead of discussing the actual context, he would just gave me a bunch of historical background information. How do I "cut to the chase"?

Hello! I have a two part question: 1) is it worth it to obtain an SHRM specialty credential if I don’t have the broader SHRM certification? 2) has anyone gotten the People Analytics or Talent Acquistion credential? If so, how valuable was it from a learning perspective? Do you feel it significantly contributed to your knowledge in either area? Thank you!
