If you are not willing to hold crypto even with 85% loss then don’t get into crypto at all.

Average down. I have a 20$ a day buy and forget order on Binance. When I see red I pile in 500 more. Technical analysis is not my thing.

Worth? Idk you tell me do you know what you bought? Lmao.

Can’t comment on your specific situation but… 1) any crypto position should have a loss tolerance of 50% 2) that position should be sized accordingly If you’re down 20% on a small position let it ride. If you’re down 20% on 10% of a 6 or 7 figure portfolio, then you’re not really playing this game well.

Usually you have smaller allocations to higher volatility assets. But that’s a personal decision.

Back on the market and I’m coming to find two things: 1. Less desirable agencies are the ones who want people back on-site soon, with no wiggle room for remote work. 2. These same agencies want to pay salaries based on COL in the city where the agency is based even if you’re working/living from another market in the interim. Example: Midwest based agency paying Midwest salaries to folks living in places like NY, SF, LA. 🧐🧐🧐🧐

I come from a racist, xenophobic family that thinks feminism is ridiculous - lovely people, I know . My nephew is almost 3 and such a sweet boy, for now. I want to buy him some thing for Christmas that is subtly educational and teaches him the values of inclusion etc. Where are some good ideas on gifts for him? I have already bought him the Marie Curie and Amelia Earhart books, which passed my family’s ‘screening’

I have many years of Cobol development/maintenance. Years ago, I had to retire for personal reasons. In the interim, I became a victim of several chronic conditions. With the patient care of several good [they ARE out there!] doctors and with the loving and patient care of my dear wife, I ultimately made a complete, better-than-new recovery. Well, now I want to return to my career as a top computer professional. How can I get a prospective employer to consider me?

Wharton EMBA worth it? Late career starter so limited white collar experience but interesting background/past life. Also have kids to support so can’t do a full time program. Want the MBA for career boost ($), as an entry to faang/MBB and to have more security for future opportunities. Worth it? Does the EMBA have the same faang/MBB recruitment access and weight as full time?

Need advice for an interview for a mid-level consulting position with a partner tomorrow. From what I understand it will be an hour long behavioral interview which I think is pretty long. First interview was a pretty straightforward behavioral interview with a director. Not sure what to expect. Any questions I should ask in particular?

Closing is scheduled for Friday, and client (buyer) just informed everyone (lender, lender's counsel, seller, seller's counsel, and us) that they decided to have another affiliate take title to the property. Never mind all the signature pages are sitting in escrow. It's these moments that make me hate transaction.

need advice. I have been working in an interim role as a portfolio manager. I was promised that the role would be mine. However, after doing the job for 2 months, I have been advised that we might not get the funding for the role and I might not get the raise and the title but my responsibilities will be the same. Its a political minefield. How should I back out elegantly that I need to be compensated fairly and competitively from this mess without burning any bridges

Anyone know what compensation is like for AVP at Barclays in Whippany or NY?
