When do we get to know the hike% we have got ?
I have 6 yrs of HR exp, a PHR cert & an HRIP cert. I recently left my role as an HR Rep at a tech co b/c I was working 60+/week and the stress of the job was affecting my health. I recently received an offer at a new tech co that is $10k less than what I was previously making with comments from current EEs that this new co has a better WLB. Total comp is still a lot less than my prev company. Is less comp too much of a compromise for better WLB? What have you compromised for a better WLB?

There are lots of item classes that are still in short supply. It's dependent on a number of factors related to the involved supply chain. Global shipping was already a huge mess due to COVID and then the Suez Canal blockage exacerbated it.
All of the production resources were diverted to the vaccine microchips.

Dude, it's 475 AD again. Things are starting to fall apart and will come unglued rapidly. I'm trying to get things like physical gold/silver, tools, solar panels, long-life food before they become unavailable.
Yeah and nothing is available on iKEA either due to supply chain issues (Covid related)
Is it really Covid related at this point though? Cleaning supplies have been in full stock at stores for a while, not sure why I haven’t been able to get things since Christmas and there’s no end in sight.
Maybe it’s all in attempt to impact the market - create extremely low supply to drive up demand/price

The shortages aren’t some sort of market manipulation but rather disrupted supply chains. Weakening dollar causing prices to rise quickly too
