I'm close to burning out, but I've just been given a new massive project to staff and roll out in a very short timeframe. It's going to take a series of miracles to pull off and represents a significant increase in workload and responsibility. My team will expand 2-4x its current size. Any advice for how and when to approach adjustments to my comp and title? Do I wait until I've delivered success or should I be bringing this up now?

I have encountered a couple of racist clients this year. Is this because of remote work? The incidence of racial bias seems to be higher.

I have 1 senior and 1 manager that I can asks questions for my returns. I myself am a new senior at my firm. They are incredibly helpful but SO busy. Every time I ask them if they can connect on some questions they take forever to respond and I end up getting stuck. My question is do most of you bill that time you’re waiting to the client? I move on if they take too long but sometimes moving on too quickly can be annoying as it seems they respond as soon as I move on and have to switch gears

What do you do when a junior flat out refuses to do work? Tried to staff a junior who told me she was at capacity…everyone is busy and she’s billing at 45-50 hrs a week while others bill 50-60. The staffing coordinator was the one who told me she’s available.

This might be a repeat post. I have a job offers from TCS and EPAM Anywhere. EPAM has agreed to pay the CTC in full (no fixed and project allowance). Salary package wise, EPAM beats TCS by 10 LPA, apart from the full time remote facility. What would be the reason(s) for me that would compel me to take up TCS ?

One of the less tangible things that a great agency producer does is manage to keep our vendor partners motivated to deliver good work in the face of an ungrateful client / agency.

I officially think I’m done with production. Quite honestly, I never really liked it. I got into the biz after it’s golden age (as my mentors have described it) and it’s only been a stressful experience. I don’t mind the post part of it but this COVID experience has truly exposed to me that I do not get any enjoyment out of planning a shoot or trouble-shooting the day to day problems. It’s liberating to tell the truth. Now, what can I do next? I have about 5 years of production experience.

Our in-house creative team got our hands slapped for not inviting more members of the marketing team to a creative presentation. The creative needed quick approval to be executed properly within a tight timeline and the members of the marketing team who were not invited did not have a specific role/task on the creative project. Why does it seem like the creative team always has to do a full on talent show every presentation but no other arm of the marketing team does? Thoughts?
