There shouldn’t ever be any tugging or pulling! I usually get microdermabrasion done and it’s amazinggggg! My skin is always bright and glowing after! If my skin is broken out I go every 2-3 weeks but otherwise I go every 4-6 weeks.
I’m not sure where you’re going but my skin doesn’t get tugged or pulled.. lots of circular movements and soft massaging of the products into your face. I’m early 30s and have been getting one every 4-6 weeks and my skin has never looked better
I agree! If they're tugging or pulling RUN! I think it's a great idea, but go somewhere professional.
Hydrafacials are amazing!
Any specific recommendations on the type of facial to start for mid twenties asian female?
Thanks, appreciate your response :)
As a former Medical Aesthetician, facials are great especially if you’re looking to improve your skins overall appearance. The movements incorporated in facials are to help lift and increase blood circulation to the face. Also allowing for products to penetrate the skin better. Improving your skins appearance would require your own maintenance at home but facials are a great start. Plus your aesthetician can give you advice on ingredients you could incorporate in your daily routine. If there is any sort of uncomfortable tugging and pulling, I probably wouldn’t go back to that aesthetician.
Thanks all for your reaponses
Anti aging! Glycolic plus hyaluronic acids are your friends. Vitamin C!
Definitely sus about the tugging and pulling. Like other said, you may want to find a new provider. Look into medspas in your area — folks there typically have really impressive/reassuring training and certifications and will use FDA approved products.
Tbh, facials are an excellent addition to your skincare regimen. But what is it that your skin needs? Dry skin in need of hydration? Oily skin? Early signs of aging? Assess your needs before just getting your facial.
Can you get a facial if you are on tret? (Cant stop, and will go crazy)
So you get the facial or not
