Agree with PwC1. But I've never seen a b4 person getting rejected after receiving the notice
No, that's just the confirmation you got selected from the lottery. They still have to validate all your documents and decide what you studied is relevant to your job and all other requirements. Big4 lawyers are usually good at this phase.
If you are in the US while you apply and receive the H1 then you don't need to go to the embassy to get the visa. Once you are accepted and then leave the country you have to go to the local country's US embassy for the interview and visa in your passport to get back into the states.
To get your official visa to travel in and out of the US you have to go through the interview at the embassy
@ EY2: No. An approval needs to be obtained first.
I don't think you need an interview if you are already working in the US. Even if you do, it will be a very basic one. But if the US firm is applying for you while you are in your country, you will definitely have to do one. That's what most of the Indian IT consultancy firms do to bring people to the US
That's why I said to travel in and out of the US
Thanks guy 🙏 just have to wait for final petition result now but I feel so much relived! ❤
Chill. We provided some more detail around it. And you didn't specify which embassy or in which country. Seems self-explanatory to you but visa issues aren't always as clear as they seem.
It requires comprehensive reading skills to understand what I said. If you need to travel to the US for work, you obviously need a valid visa. Simple as that. I didn't say one needs to interview to obtain the H1b visa unless one needs to enter the US. Simple as that. But guess what, you are the expert.
