Hi fishes! Nagarro declined the counter offer letter ₹33,00,000 + shares worth 4.5LPA
I've 6+ yrs experience (mobile dev.)
Nagarro offered 18LPA. Initially I told HR for 22 but he mentioned 18 into their internal portal to their senior so after clearing all interview rounds I got 18.
When I asked the HR, he told me to accept it for now and bring the counter offer letter so they can revise offer letter.
But now they declined. Weird.

First and foremost, is this something you will enjoy? I was at places where I did a ton of recruiting and mentoring interns etc and they really valued my contribution (confirmed at year-end results). At another place, whatever I did extra was absolutely not recognized ( also confirmed by year-end).
What I say is for non billable practice development efforts, please do what uplifts you first and foremost. Not worth the effort otherwise. You can also ask your career coach how efforts will get recognized (doesn’t mean they will be honest).

It depends. Getting involved in some recruiting efforts is good because you’re helping build your practice for growth, helping identify future leaders. You get a different view of the business and in terms of what’s important to look for to build the business and what skills are important. Helps you think more strategically about where you’re going and how the people you bring in get you there.
I’d rather help pick my team than have someone else do it 🤷🏻♀️
