Depends what you are looking for and prios - Herne Hill has Brockwell park with lido, which is great if you’re into running/exercise classes/swimming etc., a couple of good coffee shops, small number of independent restos, butcher, greengrocers, farmers market at the weekend. Walkable to Brixton for a few more bars one way or Dulwich and onto Peckham the other. Overall, a slower pace of living and much more of a village feel. Transport links aren’t great, though I say this as someone who has to be near a tube. Generally a nice part of London and if you’re looking for green space and less grime, would go for that over Fulham. Best bet is to head there and explore at the weekend to get a feel for it yourself and what you’re looking for
Depending on where in HH you live can be close enough to Brixton tube also (or at least reasonable bus ride away). I like it, Brockhall Park is great, and it is definitely more of a village feel compared to Fulham.
Herne hill is nice but not as nice as Fulham. Some nice schools if you have children but again not as nice as Fulham imo. What other options do you have
Difficult to say. Looking for a similar feel to fulham but without the house prices lol.
Crystal Palace is also great. Lots going on around the triangle, parks nearby and close to East Dulwich
It's actually where I live. Great links with 2 stations to London bridge London Victoria each 25m or so. The only thing is depending where you live the schools can be a bit bad. There are some nice ones in Southwark borough near gypsy hill but on the North Croydon side there's only 1 good primary. Part of reason why I'm thinking of leaving. Otherwise for professional with no kids it's quite good but not as lively as Clapham
