If you apply for a remote position, will they adjust your salary based on where you live?
Anyone have any contacts for Fitzco ATL and 22Squared Tampa? I’m wanting to follow-up on my writer apps.
On a project, had someone else get a “good job” for something I did. How do I approach this? Do I leave it alone? If it was me, I would have told xx person that someone else did it. However, don’t feel like that’s going to happen here. Just kind of sucks because I’m new and want to be recognized for my work while them knowing I’m capable of more.
My father always talks about how he hit a ceiling in not being able to be the top dog at his company because he doesn't have a phd. The guy above him is world-renowed based on what he's researched and published. I believe my dad could have made it if he'd done more outside work, but he says the PhD would have allowed him to be respected for the job/tier more automatically. He's an engineer. Thoughts?
I am rolling off a project sooner than expected. Project wants me to go through the amendment but I don’t get the point but the time I know my result it will almost be time to roll off.
If Donald trump works from Trump Tower two days a week, is he remote and WFH? As his client, I am not ok with that since his billable rate is really high.
Applying to T15 in R2. Currently have a 700 GMAT (43Q, 41V) after taking once. Even if I raise my quant to 47, which would be impressive for me, I’ll still be at a 700 (possibly 710). 3.6 undergrad GPA. Worth retaking? Or just focus on the rest of my applications?
I have 2 YOE at a tier 2 consulting firm and just graduated top of class with an MS at a target school. How do I go about networking/getting a referral to transfer over to MBB?
Advise working with a coworker who doesn't "answer the question directly": I just joined a new company and I am starting to work with a coworker but I feel like he tends to deflect my questions all the time and he often gives a vague/BS answer. FOR EXAMPLE, I stepped in reviewing the list of deliverables needed for the project, I provided my input but instead of discussing the actual context, he would just gave me a bunch of historical background information. How do I "cut to the chase"?
How hard should you actually work in consulting? Obviously we have utilization requirements so we work long hours but I’m tired of giving 100% of my brain power. Is there any benefit of working harder? IMO there’s an incentive to work slower
I just learned that my younger adult sibling has been severely, deeply depressed. This surfaced when sib said they needed help moving and the family showed up to find that the entire apartment was under 3-4ft of trash, including a significant amount of rotten food. (Sib has no sense of smell due to past medical issues.) We are floored. Sib is very private and no one knew. With COVID, no one has been in the apartment. Sib’s supposed to be moving across the country, and we’re worried…
I’m going on my first travel project. What’s the best way and tips to earn the most reward? Would appreciate any suggestion
Stupid question, want to get into political risk consultant, is that a thing outside of PwC in the big 4? If so what qualifications do you need and what's more utilized, risk analysis or poli sci?
People accepted counter offer and got higher pay and raise again. Should I also do this? Is it ethical? I’m in tax NYC office.
What's a good exit salary for an associate in audit with 2.5 years of experience (and on big/complex jobs)? Exiting before 3rd busy season
