Hi fishes,I have around 5.2 yrs of hands on exp in data engg. and able to clear service based companies interviews easily. Now I want to switch to product based companies as I am looking for some good work, good salary but I am not really strong in dsa as it's not part of my daily work.I don't really use trees and graphs as part of my daily work.
How shall I switch to product based companies considering DSA is their 1st round itself.what level of DSA can I expect from companies for data engineer position?
Currently in Intv process with EPAM Systems in Canada for Performance analyst role ( Performance testing / engineering ) and also Test Automation role. I am new to Canada and have about 6 years experience in each field. What would be salary ranges offered? Other services companies in market are offering in 105 -120 range.
Also what can i expect in project interview and manager interview? Will it be highly technical? I cracked round #1 technical interview, it was easier than expected EPAM Systems
Anyone have insights on VISA? Comp/WLB etc
After weeks of no contact Goldman Sachs have finally come back to me with an offer of £75k for an associate role within Global markets ops (collateral management) in London. I initially gave them salary expectation of £80-85k and have 2 competing offers around £80k range. I’ve tried to negotiate and tried to ask for higher but they won’t budge or match my other offers. They’re saying the pay is in line with the peer group and my experience (7.5 years). Am I being lowballed? Goldman Sachs

Yes it's absolutely okay. If you miss this opportunity then after you join them you have to wait till next appraisal to get a raise. Its better to renegotiate now. Even if they decline you have to choice

Two choices*
for 3 lakhs different it will leave good impression on you .... bla bla if its good company like high job security go for it dare and ask for same compensation
34 lpa is a lot.
If you don't mind, can you share your salary growth from your first job to now ?
Also are you from any tier 1 colleges or have you done MBA ?
It’s all about switching and getting the best hike

Yes
Tell the company names only then we can say..
Of first company is much better than second then 3 lacs is nothing. It will hardly have any impact in life at 30+ ctc...
You should ask for a better offer from the first company. If not better, at least they should match this offer.
