Is is ok to renegotiate my compensation 3 days before my joining date.
I had an offer of 31 LPA from company A. They were waiting for me to join for 3 months. My joining date is 28th Nov.
Today I got another offer of 34 LPA from another company B. Is it ok to renegotiate my compensation at company A?
EOY: 7.5
CTC: 22 LPA

Yes it's absolutely okay. If you miss this opportunity then after you join them you have to wait till next appraisal to get a raise. Its better to renegotiate now. Even if they decline you have to choice

Two choices*

for 3 lakhs different it will leave good impression on you .... bla bla if its good company like high job security go for it dare and ask for same compensation

34 lpa is a lot.
If you don't mind, can you share your salary growth from your first job to now ?
Also are you from any tier 1 colleges or have you done MBA ?

It’s all about switching and getting the best hike

Yes

Tell the company names only then we can say..

Of first company is much better than second then 3 lacs is nothing. It will hardly have any impact in life at 30+ ctc...

You should ask for a better offer from the first company. If not better, at least they should match this offer.

Can anyone share their experience with leaving PA Tax and either going to industry in an analyst role or to a Wealth Management firm? I was looking for a minimum of $105k base but I’m not sure if that’s realistic, and I heard the wealth management firm would be 45-55 hours during busy season.

Salary or Wlb ?

Best place to work as a retirement consultant? Empower, Fidelity, Vanguard, T. Rowe, Lincoln, etc? New to field and want to get a sense of where my salary is at compared to competitors.

Manager of product - 101k, 15% bonus yearly, unlimited PTO, good culture it seems, 100% covered medical, plus a few “fluff benefits” like tech and wellness reimbursements etc. ..OR director - 130k, some equity (not nearly as much as manager role) and no bonus’. Medical is roughly 600.00 a month (my current role is only 150 a month so this is a change) ..unlimited PTO but doesn’t seem too unlimited honestly - start up company in Fintech. Massive amounts of work to be done.

Hello Fishes, I’m interviewing for a senior program manager role at Amazon and HR asked me my total comp expectations. Being new to tech I really don’t know where to start. I don’t want to short change myself or reach too high. I’m a Consulting SC at D with 10 YoE (experienced hire from government) making $130k now. What I’ve seen online is a massive range from 150s into the 300s. This is a non-tech role. Any insight as to what’s appropriate is appreciated!
