I can't stop thinking about work.
I've worked at the same engineering firm for 4 years. I'm currently making $161k with only a $750 bonus, but excellent vacation (4 weeks, cash out anytime, rolls over indefinitely), 45 hours a week. I have an interview with a recruiter at Guidehouse this week for a Technical Project Manager role. It seems to be focused in the government space and requires a security clearance. What sort of salary and benefits could I expect for this sort of role at Guidehouse?

I’d wait. You could be considered junior in your MBA class and won’t bring much to the table compared to another classmate with 6 years of work experience.

I did and it worked out well.

I think it depends on you. Unless you have a good idea of what you want to do post MBA, it's better to wait. There are tons of options in the programs, and while you can explore some of them you can't explore all.
If it 2 years you're really clear on what you want to do, then it would be a great idea to go and move in that direction. If you're still pretty unsure, it's better to spend a few more years working and exploring options before you go.
You should wait.... It's better to know something deep before doing an MBA . So that worst case even if you wanted to switch your career you have the option to being a manager in your old line of work. Plus you need to be mature to take full value of the program. By mature I mean corporate mature..
In addition to D2 & D3 above, think of it another way: what jobs will you be able to *win* after your MBA, relative to other MBA grads? If you won’t *win* due to potential perceived lack of experience, that’s another reason why it’s best to have 4+ yrs of experience before your full time MBA.

I think 2 years is good work experience to take advantage of an MBA
