Hey Fishbowl community! I currently work as a Sales Support Specialist with 3 YOE working at a SaaS company. My dream career is to work at Microsoft or Google. I am open to different opportunities that exceed 80k+ per year. I also have a BA in Business Admin. If anyone can refer me to a great remote position I would greatly appreciate it! 😀

Did you misspell fucking?
If he's married, then yes that is an issue
OP sounds like you two met outside of the office and before knowing you worked in same firm. There shouldn't be an issue with your career since you don't work together. As long as you have similar maturity levels and keep office and dating life separate, it should work out. If it is a large office and you two are professional about it, no one cares. No meaningful gossip. Dated someone in same LoS and everybody respected it and dealt with it like adults. It never really came up in conversations.
8 years?! Lol damn. A lil too far for my taste but do you.
I don't know. It can work out. I k ow a few married coupkes that met at the office. That being said.. you should never shit where you eat. There are plenty of men/women outside of the office to date. Not to mention the shit storm it will be if it goes bad.
Tread lightly. Good luck.
To answer your questions--- I find him attractive obviously. He isn't married.
I actually had this conversation with him yesterday. He is looking to leave EY as he was contacted with a really great opportunity last week. So maybe we won't be at the same firm after all and avoid any potential office gossip or negative implications.
Nah
Is there a large age difference? If so that might result in negative office gossip that you'd have to handle but in terms of dating a co-worker it's fine.
If you genuinely enjoy each other's company, go for it. Although I don't recommend publicizing it since you will likely be the talk of the office
Go for it
I like him. He's a really decent and respectful guy and cares about me. I'm just concerned from a career standpoint. I didn't know we worked in the same office or even same firm when I initially met him.
Hawt? You must be nawt
It’s ok but you will get talked about happened when I was at EY. Sr. Was dating a senior in the office and we all talked about it.
Navigate the grey
That's about the same age difference as me and my husband. We barely notice it unless we're talking about remembering something like a tv shoefrom his childhood. Those are the times that we remember that I was in elementary school when he was in high school.
He's 8 years older than me.
The question is do you like him ?
@ey2
He's just getting after it
