Is it a bad look as an analyst to wear a $1-2k watch around SM/partners?

That's their like daily wage bro lol they don't care

Daily? More like hourly.

No. 90% won’t even know it’s expensive. The ones that do and ask you… well they actually like watches and probably love that you are into them at an early age. It’s a chance to connect at that point. Up to you how you handle it from there.

Nope. I may assume your parents bought it for you as a graduation present, but that’s nice :)

I had a Consultant wear a $20k watch around and I am convince I’m the only one who noticed and I didn’t care.

Is 1-2k a lot for watch? I thought that was about standard for good one

Thanks M2 agreed on that :)

Is there an analyst look?

likefunny

No, wear what you want, nobody is gonna care.

The Hermès Apple Watches start at $1250, and no-one will notice it’s Hermès so, no?

How much is your suit?

$1-2k is nice but not crazy. Women frequently have that expensive of a purse. Now you rip out the $50k Rolex, and you might get some raised eyebrows

No. No.

Which watch?

I wear a watch that’s roughly half of my salary and only had it noticed by one MDP who is a watch collector

With that being said, this is a discrete watch - I wouldn’t wear something extremely flashy (regardless of price)

What watch??

A question for the entertainers out there (magicians, dancers, DJs, really just anyone who is hired to work at parties). Have you ever turned down a job because something about the person asking to hire you just felt "off"?

Me and my partner are not sure whether we want to have kids . Sometimes we want to and the next day we are completely against the idea . The reason we want to have kids is that we want to grow our inner circle , have more people in this world who we can call our family. And we don’t want to have kids is that it will put extra pressure on us , less freedom for next 10-15 years. Wanted to understand why people have kids or don’t have kids . People who don’t submit their time daily, how do you remember what you did and for how long? I’ve always just submitted each timer as soon as I finish a task—“call with x re y” really doesn’t take that long even if I’m busy, and if I don’t do it immediately I’ll forget all those little I did in the morning by the time I go to bed. No shade at all to those with different systems, just genuinely curious because I see a lot about catching up at month end on here and I have no idea how that works??
