Is it a better idea to apply to mbb outright and fail or to try with t2 first and then lateral? just thinking if I go with the first they have a cooldown period so then if I go t2 I can’t lateral for a while even with referral.

Got a potential offer from a start up, looking for someone to complete to their entire HR department from the scratch. Currently at a stable fortune500 company with a at will role for a project for 12-15 months. Not very happy with the mundane tasks in this role. I’d be leaving 6mo early than previously discussed. Start up role seems super exciting but culture is different and can be tough. Does anyone have any thoughts? Is it bad to leave?
