Is it actually okay to not wish to answer disability form? Any implications one way or the other?

I decided to start doing this a few years ago. There are things I don’t want to reveal as they don’t impact my work, but I can also envision problems in the future if I say “no” to the disabilities question.

I’m just so sick of seeing pregnant influencers with perfectly round stomachs frolicking around in overly fashionable clothing. I’m 8 weeks and because I’m on estrogen and progesterone I already have a stomach and am so bloated. I have acne and just feel like a total troll. I know better to not look at social media as a comparison but can’t these women do even a little bit to make pregnancy realistic? Or suggestions for some actually helpful accounts to follow?

As someone who is not from the UK but lives here, seems like the focus of the COVID conversations boils down to ‘protecting the NHS.’ Shouldn’t the NHS be protecting us though? Sick of lockdowns and there doesn’t seem to be a significant difference in long-term outcome anyway. I feel that we need to be given a risk rating based on certain factors and those in lower risk categories should be allowed to go about their lives and run the economy as usual. Tier 5 sounds awful - I oppose it. Thoughts?

If I start studying for the 63 and while I wait to take the SIE do you think that will hurt/confuse me? Sick of looking at SIE materials, surprised there’s not any more testing windows …

What do I do? I called in sick on Monday because of a flu that turned out to be COVID. I am a manager in the logistics department, where I shouldn't come into the office to avoid risking anyone's health. However, I've been away for 3 days now and my superior is calling me in to work, even if I'm not totally healed. Considering I work alongside the drivers and they have to meet our clients, I wouldn't want to be the patient zero in the office.

Read that police make 10.5 million arrests per year (an arrest made every 3 seconds) and killed 1,004 people in 2019.

Based on what is displayed in the media, does this ratio sound shocking?

Bad characters in the force need to be weeded, police depts restructured to be more effective.

But are the calls for defunding absurd? Are we overreacting? Or is this level of scrutiny justified?

Major cities have had police 'sick ins' as counter protest. Will this lead to lawlessness?

Opinions?

Backstory: my employer is “eliminating” my position and gave me 90 day notice. Now that we are at the end, they asked about me contracting there still.

My firm’s IT (especially system saving and file locating function) is so bad 😐😞 and they keep doing updates no one asked them for just to mess with the stuff we already got a hang of without doing anything about the issues we actually need fixed. Anyone else in a similar boat? Do you bill the client for the time it takes to fix the IT issue (or IT inefficiency generally, like time taken to find a file in a convoluted system)? Or is that supposed to be our non-billable time?
