Is it advisable to switch domain to low level driver and MCU embedded development?
I mean this domain is not the flavour of the town and neither is it a high paying domain
But I love to work at the middleware and hardware level.
I'm in this dilemma whether to leave high level application development using JavaScript, jquery etc to Assembly and embedded C level

I’m a contracts specialist and have been in my role for 2 years. Prior to that, I had 3 years of experience with bidding as well. Any others in the same role care to share salaries? I’ve been prepping hard for M&A technicals (reading R&P, biws400) for a move to an MM IB firm but got hit up to interview for a T2 consulting firm (LEK, EYP, OY).

My goal is to break into PE potentially but I’m not sure if it’s worth putting in effort for T2 consulting interviews because I believe exits from T2 are more limited compared to an MM IB like JEF. My question really boils down to how do exits from a T2 compare to that of a top MMIB? Appreciate any and all insights!

Hello TCS folks in the TCS offer letter it is mentioned that we have to initiate the BCG process with 5 days of offer acceptance does that mean I have to submit all the required documents for BCG within 5 days after offer acceptance? Resignation acceptance letter is also one document mentioned in the BCG list is that also need to be update within 5 days? Received an offer from a top FAANG for a 250% increase in TC. However, I was initially interviewing for a position that was remote and yet the final offer does not provide that option, non-negotiable. I have a wife and 2-year-old child and another one due in 7 months, and currently live near both sets of grandparents.

Is working at a top FAANG really worth that kind of cost? I'm leaning heavily 'no' but it's not making it easy to sleep at night knowing I'm sitting on this kind of offer!
