Is it an across the board rule that companies don’t list strategists when they put work on various industry sites or agency by agency practice?

State of Ohio:
Anyone have experience with Dept of Public Safety? Are they disorganized? Do they have a bad culture? I am starting to think they suck based on my application experience with them , compared to other state agencies.

Been on a project for 2 weeks and thinking it’s not for me. The manager is kind of rude when I ask for help/direction, but he always says to ask if things are uncertain. He always has this condescending attitude and just keeps telling me that he expects more of someone at my level, C. I just keep feeling anxious that I’m not meeting expectations and feel reluctant to ask for help. Anyone in the same boat?

How are your ELs and their parents handling this crisis? I wish I could give them more support.

A recruiter reached out to me about a semi-remote position with a pay range from $165-225k for 1,700 hours, “no real floor.” I make $350k plus equity now, between in-house and my own clients, plus equity, and have a chance to make $100- 200k more in the next year. I told them my current comp up front, recruiter still scheduled the interview, but I feel like I’m wasting everyones time. Its a neat firm and position would be of interest to me, but also not 100% fit. Should I even interview?

I want to invest in a company that has lost the most relative to others in the hope of getting the most return. Any suggestions?

Currently interviewing with Amazon for an associate corporate counsel role. After the first round, I was quickly moved on to the written exercise but its now been a month since I submitted it and I haven’t received any update on my application despite following up with HR once. Is it really a good thing for partners to fight over you? One partner who is in leadership is clearing my plate of other matters so I can work on one specific case over the next week or so bc there’s several big deadlines. I am grateful but feel like other partner is pissed I am getting pulled away from her work. I didn’t ask to be pulled off of anything I just responded to partner who is in ldrshp about my workload when asked n now she is just shifting work off my plate to other associates.

I’ve seen hundreds of mediocre framework-y briefs at work and otherwise, I’ve seen many “examples” of how briefs should look, and I’ve read plenty about what a great brief should have, but without being at a top agency or around top planners, I don’t think I’ve ever actually seen a great brief with real work.
