Is it bad to constantly job hop, if I leave my current firm will be 1 year at EY Audit, 1 year at Deloitte FDD and then somewhere new. Just worried how this would look going forward

Nobody cares how long you stayed in the previous job once you get the offer or interview. If anyone asks you can always give a narrative.

like

What are you looking for next? If IB this is completely fine. As long as your job hop makes sense from a career progression standpoint you are good.

Why you wanna leave FDD? That seems to be where everyone want to go.

Depends what u get. If it’s a job you want that you know you’ll stay in a few years then go for it

Depends on your story, how you sell it, and where you want to take your career. Maybe audit was stepping stone to FDD which is stepping stone to your next role. I’d think if you leave FDD though, you probably should stay in your next role for a few years+

Nope, I’m on a similar path as you and thinking about dipping for my next opportunity. Do what’s best for you and your career. Get that 💰

I have a similar background and am about to leave. You’ll want to get one longer (3+ years) stay at some point.

Don’t worry as long as you have a story for the move and able to crack the interview nothing matters

Wanna refer me before you leave?

I’m ready to find another gig. Btw I’m 1.5 years into the industry now soo I’m kinda new-ish. I’ve been working at a small shop, but I’m not a fan of the work we do. We rarely make “big idea” kind of stuff.

My book doesn’t have too many examples of real ad work that aligns with the kind of work I want to do. Is that a huge deal breaker for other agencies?

How does one tailor their book to stand out and transition to an agency that’s making the big stuff they want to make?

Hi all, so one of my friend got placed through campus (Btech) in Cognizant (last year october) and now they are being told that those guys will be onboarded according to business requirements and tentative months given to them are Jan-Feb. How is this fair, what do they get in ruining students career. Atleast they can onboard and start their training so that in jan feb they can directly get aligned to project. And this is for all mass recruiters .He is so depressed. Can't see him like this 😔

Per diem/contract/travel nurses-Okay so I’m currently working full time and have a per diem gig as well. I would love to drop my full time employment and work as a “full time” per diem nurse making my own schedule. I’m not married, so my biggest issue obviously becomes health insurance. Looking for some advice/recommendations from anyone who has been in the same boat and how you navigated this scenario? I know some agencies offer benefits, but what if I am not working for any agency? Thanks!!
