It's fine
I used to spend time in executive search. It’s not ideal. If all else is equal, recruiters and hiring managers will go for candidates who stick around a few years and show progression within the same organization. It demonstrates that you can navigate the org, do good work , seen as a high performer, instead of bailing too quickly for whatever the circumstance. Now, if you were to jump ship within a year to take on a clearly larger, meatier role, that’s a different story. Unfortunately optics on timing of transitions matter when recruiters look at your resume.
