What's your motivation?
I did it, twice actually
Not exactly terrible or uncommon these days
If you’re landing interviews already (esp with MBB) then kudos. I wouldn’t worry about how it looks; just do well and get offers.
Not bad. Do it
Do what’s nest for you. Nobody knows you and your needs beat like you. Forget the respectability politics. Life is too short for that.
If you're really not growing, then it's hard to justify staying longer. But know that it will be harder to get what you want. Some recruiters don't like only a year in a position, especially if you're jumping firm to firm and are right out of college. Others will discount the year and start you at another entry level position. And others may low ball you.
My recommendation is either wait till the 1.5 year mark or stick out the job search long enough to get what you're really looking for.
Nope. Take advantage of the first year
Curious about this, mind elaborating a bit more about the first year part?
