Rising 3rd yr here — have you ever cried in front of a superior when getting negative feedback? If so, how did it go? I tend to get really quiet and often feel the urge to cry when a more senior associate/partner calls out a mistake I made. Admittedly, this is less of a problem when WFH but I generally struggle with controlling the urge to shut down (i.e., getting really quiet and defenseless) when an authority figure criticizes my work.
