Hi there, I’m wondering if it’s worth it to get the CFA, if so, what career moves would you make and what positions to look for/apply? I have the Series 7, 66, 9/10, health and life insurance, did an accreditation program for private wealth advisor through my current work, studying for the CFP to sit for the exam sometime in 2023 and have the MBA. I currently work in private wealth management. Any other recommendations are welcome.

I feel like I commonly hear this concern but have never actually seen it in practice. If a company needs product ideas from candidates, they are already doomed.
I'm in UK and the presentation requests are getting silly. I had to present 2 within days of each other. One that was directly about them and their main competitor and the work I would be doing. I didn't get the job. I've been asked to do another for next week on their current problems that I'm going to pull out of (3rd stage). It's exploitative. A generic task, ok. But solving their problems for free (especially if I'm not so into the job or salary...) no thanks
As someone who has been on the other side, yes it is common, but no we don’t use it for ideas. The reason why the case topics reflect so close to the actual business’s products is to spark relevant discussions, probe the candidate’s awareness of the industry, and creates an easy to follow interview for other team members in the same product portfolio who may be leading a group interview.

I agree. There is no shortage of ideas to work on. It's not reality that a breakthrough is expected to come during a random interview with someone who knows nothing about the product context.
