Like capability wise I can understand how a analytics consultant can fit in everywhere. But do strategy consultants have a tougher time switching industries because much of their knowledge or skills may be tied to the industry? Just not sure if I ever want to specialize in an industry yet, at least I haven't found one I want to specialize in yet. And if I don't, does it typically hinder your career trajectory?

Does a variety of industries bring value? Or are too many things irrelevant industry to industry.

I changed several times, it will prolong your path to partner

I sent someone a thank you message on LinkedIn after an interview last week and they've seen it but haven't replied... should I email them too or just let it be?

Need help in transitioning to Tech - I'm M2 and been in consulting for 4 yrs. Primary role Functional / BA and have done PMO work. A lot functional work for practice development, recruiting, etc. Technical skills no hands-on coding. I'm looking at Program Manager or Product Mgmt roles.
Am I on the right track? What can I do to make my profile attractive to tech companies?

Ladies! Do you like One Medical? I know it’s a concierge service and that I can get a lot of the component service on my own elsewhere. But scheduling with my existing doctors is really annoying, and I’m wondering if OM is worth the convenience of easy access to PCP/GYN/Covid testing. 26F in NYC, if it matters.

Have you ever not negotiated salary on an offer? Happy with the package but yes an extra 5k or 10k is attractive with the cost of living

I’ve noticed a pattern with guys I meet off Grindr...All of them want to go for a second round and they are extremely passionate. I’m someone who overthinks a lot and not sure whether that’s a good or bad thing... the second (sometimes third round). For reference, I’m a bottom. To my tops, please chime in; provide some perspective, please. 😊

One of my favorite ways to pass time at work is think about the things I will purchase if my bonus is as big as I’m hoping. What are some of the most rewarding things you’ve gotten with a rush of cash and the worst things you've blown it on? I'm very prone to purchase regret, but hey you have to pass the time with some pleasure, no?
