Is it common to see women in commercial real estate? I’m a young female starting off in a male dominated office and would like to hear more of females that made it in this commercial industry

I’m an industry senior, manager is retiring in 2 months & new tax director is joining this week. Have been at company for 15 months. Considering talking to HR & new director for a plan to grow my career at this company; company is growing & likely we will need 2 more ppl at associate/senior levels (we have 1 associate). What is a realistic time frame to set for promotion to manager & what goals should I be setting? Company is tiered partnership, acquiring new businesses & operates multi-state.

Am I stuck if I lateraled to a firm and realized that it is just not where I need to be? Is it too soon to leave or do I stick it out for the year or two?

Do you need to be sponsored to sit for the Series 7, Series 65, and Series 82 exams? I’m hoping to become an accredited investor by passing one of them.

Sure I just started a new job as a project coordinator in January .
It my first job in clinical trials technology position prior to this I was in dentistry for 32 years and it’s taking me a lot to learn all the ins and outs of data analysis and some of the tech talk.
I’m very grateful to have the position because it took me 2 years to find a job! I just wish I could perform better and know my job a little more intimately.

Hello all. Looking for thoughts and opinions. I’ve been a sales manager with a small company (I refuse to say it is a start up anymore since they bring in several million in ARR). I’ve been with them for a year and a half. I started at 50k and now make 63k. I am a full-cycle sales manager…the company does not believe in the use of BDRs. There’s no opportunity for growth. Is my salary fair (per MA standards)? I was promised high OTE… but with no marketing team I also hardly get leads.

Is it detrimental to your career to take a title at a new company that is technically lateral or lower because they new company is in a different sector? Currently a Senior Associate in the WM/Investment space. New title would be Senior Analyst in private equity space. Thoughts? Titles not entirely comparable because of different structures in each space.

Are there any specific steps to take with this kind of transaction? Is it as simple as withholding 15% of the Sales price from the seller to remit to the IRS or is there more to it?
