Is it common to spend a significant amount of time loaned out to other consulting groups rather than doing forensic/investigative work?

It depends. Large forensic projects can be really lumpy (so either feast or famine). If your team is on the famine cycle, and other parts of the firm are swamped, you'll need to help out other teams.

Not really no

Not loan per se, but on the technology side we do a lot of cross-teaming with advisory cyber on data privacy/protection engagements where they’re the lead and pull us in for the technical competencies we can bring. It’s great if you also don’t have to juggle e-discovery.

Hello fishes, I joined Nagarro on 24th of August. But still no project is assigned yet. Basically I am on bench. Now I am about to get an offer from ServiceNow. I really wanna join ServiceNow as it's a big product based organisation and the competition is really high compared to Nagarro. ServiceNow is giving me a joining date of 1st October. As I am still on bench, will I get released by Nagarro soon ? Because no project is allocated to me.

Additional Posts in Fraud and Forensics

Hello everyone! What certifications do you think would be useful to a person who is a newcomer in the fraud and forensic industry. I want to boost my skill set and profile. Currently working as a due diligence, risk and compliance researcher at Kroll. I feel the research role is quite redundant without growth opportunities. Want to move into financial crime compliance. Will the CFE or CAMS be a good investment towards achieving this goal? My background is in law. Please advise.

For background, I’m 6 months into working at this firm and have touched a variety of cases.

I was wondering if the review course “CPE Self Study Course” for the CFF was enough preparation to study and pass the CFF exam. The CFE review course was enough and like if you get a question wrong it explains it well so that when it comes up in a different way in the real exam you can still get it. But when I saw the outline for the CFF material and there seems to be a lot of topics so I was wondering if the review course was sufficient considering this exam is also multiple choice. Thanks!
