Hi All! I am all set to join Infosys from 10th October as a Senior Consultant and they have given us an option of in person or virtual onboarding. With Wipro and TCS incorporating a hybrid model, is there any news that Infosys may also do the same?
My HR had given an option of permanent wfh during recruitment, can anyone currently working at Infosys shed some light on this please!! Infosys

Bro it’s Harvard. You don’t deny Harvard

I heard it’s harder to get into Deloitte than Harvard, so he might now want to taint his reputation
Only way you might consider CBS is if they give a full ride and Harvard gives $0. Even then, most people would probably take Harvard.
Hahah if u like getting balls stomped no wonder u are in banking
Unless you’re offered a position to be the CEO of the broadcast company, CBS, you don’t ever pass up any CBS for HBS.
Unless you have some serious need to stay in new york, you always take the H.
Honestly I feel the same way. Boston sucks and to be completely honest with you HBS grads just don’t seem as fun compared to CBS folk. (Just my sample size at BCG though. Plus the case curriculum seems like a lot of work.

Living in nyc is overrated source: me who’s been here 3 years

I’d say it’s 50/50. Half of us want to stay and half of us want to get out to new places
Come on, Cambridge & Boston is amazing. Go to HBS
Trust me when I say this: it would be the biggest mistake of your life. No exaggeration.
The only school potentially worth turning down HBS for is GSB. CBS shouldn’t even be a discussion.
I don’t think I’d ever seen someone question passing up HBS for CBS. That being said, if location and culture are major factors for you and if CBS seems miles better than HBS to you then maybe go with CBS.

Go where you’re happy. I’d argue prospects are similar at M7s. You’ll get a lot everyday people impressed with the prestige of Harvard but at the end of the day if you like Columbia and would excel there no reason to pick Boston over it

I’ll trade offers with you

I actually do know someone that went to Columbia over Harvard - not for MBA but another graduate degree. I still think he’s nuts but he just really wanted to stay in the city ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The only person I know who chose CBS over HBS was married to someone who was only accepted into CBS so they both went there...
😢
From all have I’ve heard from people who lived in Boston for a while is that they totally loved it (moving to Boston this fall as well)! New York might be more exciting but you can easily do your internship there instead ...
+1 work in New York if you feel strongly about NYC
I don’t really understand the obsession with NYC above all other cities. It’s not 1960 anymore. Every major city in the US has enough entertainment/culture to keep you entertained for several years, and they’re all less expensive than NYC barring San Fran. Your time in NYC isn’t going to be so much better than (or even noticeably different) than your time in Boston, so if that’s your only consideration then take HBS hands down.

Yea I lived in Columbus for a year. Yea there's things to do but on visits to NYC there just feels to be an infinite amount of things to do.
