Is it easy to get in big tech after having Intel in the resume?

I have over 12 years in B2B sales/sales management experience along with a graduate degree. I am wanting to shift gears and I am at a point where I can invest time in myself to learn through practical experience. The new industry I am wanting to pursue is real estate investment. I have read all the books but want some hands on experience on the property management side. How could I best leverage my skills for a role in this, and what should my expectations be for negotiation in compensation?

I pursued a career in accounting because I like numbers and solving accounting problems. I did not pursue it to look at fucking internal controls and document IPE all day. I feel fucking duped.

What is the % of employees that can't reach to Senior after 2 years? And what is the reason? I found on Linkedin some are only Experienced though they have been with the firm for more than 3 years.

Are there any scholarship opportunities or aid available to students taking the PMP? My university does not have any and I’m interested in taking the exam. TIA

Was offered a position with a mid-sized firm doing complex lit and class action work. Fully remote and they’re willing to train me. Base comp is same as now but end of year bonus is cut based on firm-wide settlements.

What counts as operational experience in a startup context? I am a data scientist interested in VC in the long run. After a year or two as Lead DS, I plan to do a stint in a startup. Would it be better to pursue roles with more of a lean towards bizops vs hands-on engineering, if the end goal is a tech-focused fund like a16z?
