Is it expensive to see a therapist when it’s covered through health insurance? Think it would be $30 a visit based on copay, but I honestly can’t tell if that’s it.

Thanks so much, everyone. I think I’m finally going to commit to speaking to one after years of wanting to.

As long as the therapist is in network it should be $30

like

Have top level BSBC at EY. Copay is less than $20 in network after deductible. Used to have UHC - no one good in network

like

Have standard UHC insurance through BDO

That's sounds about right. Depends on your insurance but I have seen $40 before. So yes, think that is probably correct.

And, yes to what BDO User 1 said. Needs to be in network because if not it can be quite a bit more.

Dang I spent $120 on my therapist. She’s in network

AA1, what firm?

Neither my husband nor I are good with change and when my husband and I went for the ultrasound he nervously asked "she's too sick to eat anything other than her vitamins and water, is it ok for her and the baby to go without?" Our doctor just smiled and replied "don't worry, baby takes" I don't know why but that was so funny to us. It kind of became our mantra as we navigate and move our life around that "baby takes," its made it feel more Us vs Change rather than Me vs Him. Thought I'd share

If anyone can refer me to a consulting job or to a recruiter that would be greatly appreciated!

Lender shopping before I close out on my first home. Is 3.5% a good rate for putting 20% down on a home? How can I go about having my lender match other lenders? For context, the home I’m building in Texas has a lender that will cover $5k in closing costs if I go with them, and that’s the rate they’re giving me. I realize the rates are going back up and just wanted any advice on if it’s best to lock that in the next week or keep shopping as my closing is May 14. Thanks in advance!
