Is it feasible to have a part time job while in an MBA program? Thinking of working in retail, restaurant or a gym for some extra cash.

Min wage jobs for extra cash? Not sure if best use of time tbh.

Yeah agree with this. if you want a part time job it should be an internship in something you want to explore

Yes its possible. I was working 20-30 hrs a week during my full time mba.

What did you do

I wouldn’t recommend this - your time should be spent exploring a new industry and networking. If you’re going to be limited in that aspect by working as well - you might as well just do a part time mba

yeah, i know a guy who did like 10-20 hours/week consulting for the hospital at his school.

Yes but would definitely not suggest working retail. Do an internship related to your field of interest or within the school (eg. teaching assistant or paid fellowships).
