Anyone here have a Portuguese Water Dog? I’m getting intense pressure from my family (husband + 2 kids) to take the plunge. I know they’re high energy dogs so that’s what worries me a bit.

For those that recently lost a pet, how much time did you take off from work? I'm a bit concerned since it seems my manager doesn't like pets and I've only been at my job a few months. I know my dog has limited time left and it will absolutely wreck me when she goes so just seeing what others have done or handled this with their employers.

I know this bowl seems to be all photos 😍 but serious question for all you hard-working, king-hours dog owners out there... do you ever feel guilty about how much you're working and leaving your pup at home alone? How do you get over that guilt? Do you use doggie daycare every day or just a few times a week? Do rely on a roommate or SO to help? I'm a single lady and would LOVE to get a pup this year but am fighting the guilty feelings, so any advice would be much appreciated!
